JEFF “ACTIONJEFF” GARZA SPITS ON FELLOW PLAYER - Author: KatA

The poker year kicked off at the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure this month amidst sun, sand and drama.
Apparently Jeff “ActionJeff” Garza and Bryn Kenney got into it and more than words were exchanged. After a rather public argument Garza allegedly spat on Kenney.
Jon "xxjondxx" Delong, a player who knows both parties was sitting nearby when things got heated. Delong says:
"I was sitting at the next table over I think…just heard the dealer yell security and saying that someone spit in someone's face and saw someone who I guess was [Action Jeff] walking out of the room."
Apparently Garza and Kenney haven’t gotten along for some time now. It all allegedly stems back to a backing deal gone wrong. The deal resulted in Kenney owing Garza money which he’s yet to pay.
After word of the altercation began to get out, Garza tried to set the record straight on a PocketFives.com post:
"Bryn and I have personal issues unrelated to him multi-accounting dealing with large amounts of money. I was just ready to drop it and take the hit for making the mistake of dealing with a scumbag. My hate was reignited real strong when I kept hearing about him talking behind my back. I walked away after busting the $5K and Bryn was in my path. He made eye contact with me as I was walking away, I gave him a [expletive] you and he smirks at me. I walked up to him and said something along the lines of ‘don't look at me you thieving piece of [expletive]‘ and nudge him with my shoulder. At this point security gets called. He said something along the lines of, ‘if I wasn't playing poker, give me one good reason...' So I gave him that good reason. And let's be clear here: No, it didn't miss, and yeah, it was right in his face, and it was a lot because I'd been putting down some water at the table."
Angry or not, way to keep it classy Garza.
Although to be fair, Kenney is no innocent stranger to scandal. He was suspected of multi-accounting at the PokerStars 2008 WCOOP after his brother’s account came in second. People questioned his “brother’s” huge score as he was normally just a low stakes regular. But that scandal eventually blew over and in time this one will too. It should be interesting to see how he gets his name in the press next though.
