Job Description: Major Responsibility Areas:
Is required to perform transactions relating to impressments, transfers, daily bank deposits and balancing in a timely, efficient, professional and accurate manner agreeing to established departmental Internal Control Manual Regulations.
Perform transactions including transferring or exchanging of all forms of currency in a timely, efficient, professional and accurate manner agreeing to establish departmental Internal Control Manual Regulations.
Verify/balance the accuracy of the count sheets, issue the required floats and receives and verifies weekly cash orders.
Is responsible to verify/balance the accuracy of the chip inventory, process chip transfers, facilitate flow of chips throughout the casino and provides fills/credits to tables in a timely manner.
They are accountable for the impressment level of their cash drawer and are subject to the applicable variance policy rules and regulations for any discrepancies.
Strictly adhere to departmental rules and regulations regarding handling of all tokens/cash.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Comply with safety procedures including use of required safety equipment and identify unsafe practices or conditions.
Promote and maintain the utmost integrity and the highest caliber of customer service and respect to all patrons, employees and OLG personnel.
Must have excellent knowledge of the operations layout in order to assist patrons.
Maintain general awareness of gaming operation at all times and comply with security policies and procedures in order to secure company assets.
Additional or different responsibilities or duties, which are consistent with the position summary, may be assigned at the discretion of positions supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications:
Requires a high school diploma or comparable combination of equivalent working experience and education.
Requires experience in the related field of one (1) or more years.
Possess organizational, interpersonal, analytical and communication skills. Require strong mathematical ability, work in a physically demanding area and be familiar with a high-volume and fast paced environment. A strong knowledge of cash, foreign currency and other settlement types is also required.
