Job Description: Major Responsibility Areas:
• As required will ensure that all slot machines and related equipment are maintained and repaired properly by requesting machine repairs as required to the Slot Technicians.
• May be responsible to ensure that all applicable Internal Control Manual policies and procedures pertaining to the slot gaming area are strictly adhered to
• May perform Jackpot inspections as outlined by the Internal Control Manual.
• As required will supervise staff to meet and exceed performance expectations by establishing and maintaining a positive work environment and effective employee relations.
• Services slot machine malfunctions such as minor token jams.
• Prepare hopper fills (i.e. putting tokens in slot machine) respond to patrons needs (assist patrons with brief machine explanations, instructions for bill acceptors or various other questions regarding the slot machine).
• Is responsible for balancing and maintaining float and jackpot payouts.
• Must strictly adhere to Departmental or Internal Control Manual policies and procedures.
• Promote and maintain the utmost integrity and the highest calibre of customer service and respect to all patrons, employees and OLG personnel.
• Maintain general awareness of gaming operation at all times and comply with security policies and procedures in order to secure company assets.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Comply with safety procedures including use of required safety equipment and identify unsafe practices or conditions.

Grade 6: $22. 67 (when in Dual Role)

Position Summary:
Must adhere to the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, and other applicable municipal, provincial and federal laws and regulations. Assist in maintaining good public relations with patrons and maintain an open door policy with all employees. Comply with safety and security standards of the corporation and complying with pre-determined internal control procedures. In the dual rate capacity the individual is responsible for the administration and day to day supervision and operation of the department. |
