GUEST RELATIONS MANAGER
Job Description: Key Responsibility Areas:
• Formulate, implement and review objectives for the Guest Relations and Concierge Departments, complimenting the overall objectives of the Hotel
• Plan, implement, manage and review systems to ensure effective guest liaison; proactive operational management – anticipate and accede to guest needs ahead of time
• Plan, implement, manage and review systems to promptly respond to and resolve guest complaints and queries
• Plan, implement, manage and review systems to effectively track guest history and the associated profile
• Co-ordinate activities of other departments to ensure maximum guest satisfaction
• Plan, implement, manage and review systems to ensure the realization of the following :-
 An effective Concierge service to guests
 Business Partners deliver the required level of service
 Staff have knowledge of promotions and/or special events
 Safe and timeous guest transport
 To effectively handle guest luggage and handle lost and found guest property
• Overall line management responsibilities for the Guest Relations and Concierge Departments.
• Ensure that guests are aware of all activities and facilities in Sun City
• Ensure that Tours conducted by the preferred operators are of the highest standard

Company Description:  Main Purpose of the Job:
Reporting to the Rooms Division Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for ensuring daily guest satisfaction and management of the Porters, Guest Relations Team and Concierge Desk.


Education, experience and competencies required:
• Matric plus a recognised degree/diploma in client liaison or hospitality field
 1 - 2 years experience in a 5* Hotel environment essential
 Previous experience in a Public Relations or Assistant Guest Service Manager capacity essential
 Computer literate – MS Office & Fidelio
 Outgoing personality with strong interpersonal skills and high level of energy and innovation
 Strong management and leadership skills
 Good command of the English language
 Strong organization and time management skills
