Job Description: THE SUCCESSFUL INCUMBENT WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:
• Slot Machine Appearance: Perform checks / fault finding / repairs / upgrades on all external (glasses / decals / stickers / buttons / etc) as well as internal (wiring / monitors / reel strips / illumination / etc) components.
• Machine Surroundings: Perform checks / faultfinding / repairs / upgrades on chairs / bases / signage / displays / etc.
• Machine Operation: Perform checks / faultfinding / repairs / upgrades on bill validators / player tracking / buttons / PFU / locks / switches / MPU / power supply / etc.
• Grips Equipment: Perform checks / faultfinding / repairs / upgrades on card readers / MDC / displays / looms / key pads / power feeding units / power supply units / etc.
• Machine Software: Installation & verification of Eproms and MDC firmware.
• IT: QB & dummy server analysis and action with regards to sam values / status / voltages / telnet logs / etc.
• Revenue & Metering: Perform checks & action faults with regards to bill variances / low revenue / exceptions / etc.
• Progressives & Equipment: Perform checks / fault finding / repairs / upgrades on paltronic displays / grips display & controllers / mikohn displays & controllers / plasma progressive controllers / signage trigger devices / etc.
• ACM’s: Perform checks / fault finding / repairs/ upgrades on card readers / printers / illumination / power supplies / software / etc.
• Communication & Documentation: Participate in departmental meetings / forums and hand over important information to oncoming shift as well as the completion of various reports such as the shift report and month end.
• Liaison: Liaise with other departments and assist where needed thereby ensuring compliance as per policy and procedure at all times.
• Guest Relations: This includes dispute verification / dealing with complaints or queries / assisting customers at all times.
• Jackpot Verification: Verify jackpots / kobetron checks / MPU seal security checks / liaising with NWGB. |
