Job Description: Essential Functions:
1.????? Prepares data to be used for the reporting of operational, financial, marketing and gaming-related analyses: statistical analysis, ad hoc reporting, database querying, and data enhancement.?Responsible for accuracy and timeliness of this data as well as data integrity.
2.????? Researches, validates, and implements advanced statistical and datamining techniques that will be used to develop direct marketing programs.
3.????? Designs, develops and implements solutions by using standard methods, techniques and tools.
4.????? Assists the Database Manager in designing and implementing direct mail and promotional offers.?Works closely with Marketing leadership to translate strategic objectives into effective marketing initiatives.
5.????? Analyzes processes and assists with the development and testing of new solutions as well as documentation, training and set up of new assignements.
6.????? Tests and corrects errors, and refines changes to database.?Reviews and corrects programs.?Reports any problem to the Database Manager.
7.????? Modifies database programs to increase processing performance.
8.????? Oversees day to day operations of research projects and special projects as assigned.
9.????? Promotes and maintains the highest level of customer service to all guests while staying alert to their needs.
10.?Responds effectively to guest inquiries related to MGM Grand Detroit and the downtown Detroit area providing excellent guest service.
?11.?Resolves guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise refers the matter to management.?Notifies supervisor or senior management and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft.
12.?Performs other job-related duties as assigned. |

It is the responsibility of the Database Marketing Analyst to assist with the coordination of research projects from the on set to final presentation while providing excellent guest service.?Prepares routine & ad hoc analytical database reports from primary and secondary research sources.?Coordinates research data collection, input of data, editing and prepares all necessary data files. ?All duties are to be performed in accordance with federal, state, local laws, regulations, and ordinances, as well as department and Company policies, practices, and procedures, within the framework and intent of the MGM Grand Mission Statement. |
