Job Description: •Prepare and complete daily audits
•Communicate problems or discrepancies to management in a timely and efficient manner
•Prepare Exception Reports for non-compliance issues related to the Nevada Minimum Internal Controls Standards (MICS)
•Train and implement change within the multiple casino accounting audits
•Learn Nevada Gaming Regulations and Minimum Internal Control Standards and assist in ensuring property compliance
•Effectively communicate complex information and prioritize duties to meet strict deadlines
•Work closely with manager / supervisor to monitor flow of work in the office
•Compile and maintain historical data
•Reconcile various G/L accounts
•Perform all duties as deemed necessary for the success of the department
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
•Previous auditing or accounting experience preferred
•Must have, or be able to obtain, Gaming Registration
•Professional appearance and demeanor a must
•Must be able to communicate effectively in English, in both written and oral forms.
•Must have interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
•Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance, adhering to Mirage standards.
•Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
•High School diploma or equivalent is required.
•Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
