ACCOUNTING CLERK
Job Description: Responsibilities:






•Proactively greet, interact, and assist employees in a professional manner to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious work environment



•Serve as the first point of contact for various employee inquiries involving pay, including paycheck resolutions, direct deposit, Paycard, vacation, tip compliance, etc.



•Print and distribute checks as necessary. Maintain accurate record of all issued checks and ensure security of all unused checks



•Assist employees with inquiries involving online account access, events, programs, and benefits by providing solutions and exceptional service



•Order employee IDs and name badges and perform other services provided by the Employee Concierge



•Comply with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards



•Provide phone coverage for the department as needed using a multi-line phone



•Prepare, maintain, and organize Employee Services files as necessary



•Set up and organize workstation with designated supplies, forms and resource materials; maintain cleanliness at all times. Report shortages to supervisor



•Maintain confidentiality of all information regarding payroll records



•Provide assistance and help resolve issues with departmental timekeepers



•Run timekeeping reports and audit for accuracy



•Related duties as assigned






JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Required:






•At least six months of administrative experience



•At least six months of Accounting, Payroll or equivalent experience



•High School Diploma, GED or equivalent



•Working knowledge of Kronos Timekeeping and/or Infinium Payroll beneficial



•Ability to communicate in Spanish preferred



•Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook



•Proficiency utilizing general office equipment



•Excellent customer service skills and phone etiquette



•Effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication



•Strong organizational skills with attention to detail



•Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling and/or discussing employee inquiries and transactions



•Professional appearance and demeanor
