| Job Description: 1. Schedules meetings with Guest Entertainers, Music Director and other applicable staff to determine the needs of each show. 2. Oversee and assist with all technical support for Entertainment Department activities and programs in all shipboard venues. 3. Co-ordinate with onboard Engineering staff to facilitate repair of broken equipment and maintenance of entertainment department systems. Maintain inventory of spare parts and consumable supplies such as lamps, gel, fluids, tape, batteries, etc. 5. Co-ordinate schedules with Cruise Director of parties, meetings, rehearsals, activities, shows and other functions as necessary. 6. Co-ordinate and assist with any additional equipment or staffing required for special groups and events. 7. Prepare regular reports as directed by the Entertainment Manager - Operations and Production Managers. 8. Maintain prompt book which is defined as the accurate playing text and stage business, together with cue sheets, plots, records, and diagrams as are necessary for the actual technical and artistic operation of the production shows. Calls all production shows. 9. Assume active responsibility for the form and discipline of rehearsals and performances. Is the executive instrument in the technical running of each performance. 10. Assists with the construction of all production show scenery. 11. Manage and maintain stage crew hours. Provide detailed explanations for all overages. 12. Main point of contact for cast and their related concerns. 13. Ensure compliance with all Administrative Directives. |
