Job Description: Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
•Supervising a team of four Staff Accountants.
•Reviewing financial accounting results of onboard Casino operations.
•Preparing complex journal entries and review standard journal entries.
•Preparing complex balance sheet reconciliations and review standard balance sheet reconciliations.
•Preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports.
•Performing ship visits.
•Assisting in the creation (or updating) of shipboard and shoreside accounting policies and procedures.
•Assisting in the implementation of information systems.
•Performing tasks and projects as requested by Casino Controller.
Only candidates in the Southeast Florida area will be considered.

CPA required with a minimum of five years accounting and audit experience (“Big Four” a plus). Knowledge of GAAP is required and knowledge of casino accounting and internal controls is preferred. The ideal candidate must be able to work as a team member and independently and meet deadlines while ensuring quality results. The individual must be highly detail-oriented, possess proven organizational and analytical skills, and be able to work efficiently. The individual must be comfortable with a minimum of 10% travel, have excellent interpersonal and English verbal/written communication skills, and be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel. Experience with Oracle Financials is required. |
