COORDINATOR-INFORMATION SYSTEMS
Job Description: Responsibilities:
•Providing excellent customer service both over the phone and on-site.
•Logging all calls correctly and completely in the technical support database as well as the appropriate work order system.
•Communicating appropriate information to users, support groups and management in a timely manner in order to maintain customer satisfaction.
•Minting working knowledge of all systems and applications supported in order to respond effectively if problems occur.
•Monitoring the system messages, save system reports and key editorial queues to ensure maximum availability of the editorial systems.
•Monitoring the ship’s connectivity to shoreside systems and to detect and react appropriately to network events and alarms.
•Act as a contributing member of projects within Casino Operations.
•Maintaining the set of standardized software on the Help-Desk workstations so that the correct programs and utilities are loaded and ready to log and resolve user problems.
•Developing documentation and cross-train others in the department.
•Developing queries and reports as requested by Casino Operations.
•Support Testing of applications and enhancements.
•Installing and configuring operational systems (i.e. Windows), databases (i.e. Oracle) and applications in Wintel servers and PC’s.

Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent related experience.
•Minimum 3 to 5 years’ experience in a customer service computer systems group.
•Demonstrated ability to learn, retain and utilize information for multiple computer operating systems and applications simultaneously.
•Analytical ability to identify reasons for malfunctions and take appropriate corrective action.
•Ability to travel up to 15% mostly aboard ships.
•Superior telephone skills and interpersonal skills to provide excellent customer service to callers throughout the company.
•Experience installing, configuring and utilizing query/reporting tools and/or business intelligence tools (e.g. Brio, Hyperion, Crystal Reports).
•Experience with server installation and configuration of Windows, IIS and Databases (Oracle a plus).
•Working knowledge of TC/IP protocol.
•Fluent in English (read, write and speak).
•Fluency in Italian and/or German a plus.
•Experience in casino industry a plus.

Company Description:  The main role of this position is to provide remote technical services to users throughout the 90 plus casinos located in the ships of the different brands of the corporation. The Coordinator receives the call and resolves the issue directly or routes it to the appropriate resource. The Coordinator also monitors networks and servers and takes appropriate action if problems are identified. The Coordinator participates in projects and may act as a leader on sub-projects. In addition, the Coordinator will support the installation and configuration of OS and applications as well as support the development of queries and reports as required by operations.
