Job Description: JOB REQUIREMENTS:
•Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in a fine dining establishment comparable to or greater than Michael Mina Restaurants.
•Extensive knowledge of any kind of bread and pastries process.
•Exhibit excellent interpersonal services skills.
•Ability to organize and plan time effectively, work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment.
•Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude.
•Ability to deal effectively with guests, management, employees and outside contacts, withstand various activities such as frequent walking, standing, bending, stretching, kneeling, lifting and carrying items weighting up to 50 Lbs without restriction.
•Work in close quarters or small rooms and is occasionally exposed to hot, cold, wet and/or humid condition. Work environmental factors include noise, dust and smoke.
•Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
•High School Diploma or equivalent.
•Ability to obtain valid Health Card.
•Ability to communicate effectively in English both in oral and written form, interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all business contacts.
•Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance adhering to Mandalay Bay standards, work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

JOB DESCRIPTION: It is the primary responsibility of the Baker to prepare and bakes bread dough and other pastry items in accordance to the given recipes. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and Mandalay Bay policies, practices and procedures.
Specific Job Functions:
•Complies with occupational, health and safety standards, ensures foods are stored and kept at proper holding temperatures through the use of thermometers.
•Follows the methods of food preparation, cooking, sizing of portions, and garnishing of foods to ensure food is prepared in prescribed manner as dictated by the Chef and or Sous Chef.
•Evaluates cooked foods before serving them for quality flavors and appearance by tasting and smelling them.
•Sets up workstation based on pars established by Chef and by following station set-up sheets.
•Drives the Customer Relations Management system by ensuring that all such orders are handled correctly.
•Attends regularly scheduled staff meetings.
•Completes all closing requirements as directed by Chef and/or Sous Chef.
•Perform other job related duties as required.
