Job Description: Minimum Qualifications:
•Post secondary education such as Business Administration, Marketing, Public Relations, Communications or other relevant courses or subjects
•Minimum of 7 years experience in relevant field
•Previous advertising experience required
•Previous project management experience required
•Previous promotions and special event planning experience preferred
•Must possess strong writing and presentation skills
•Must be organized and efficient in managing a workload with multiple priorities and deadlines
•Strong interpersonal skills and ability to support fellow team members required
•Must be comfortable interacting one-on-one with guests and suppliers
•Must be able to read, write and speak English
•Confident knowledge of Excel, Word and Microsoft Outlook required
•Must be able to work special events on weekends and during evenings when required |

Job Description
The Marketing Specialist is responsible for advertising activities which includes building relationships with various media outlets, negotiating to ensure maximum exposure for allotted media buy budget, and working with our graphic designer for fulfillment.
This position is also responsible for the development, growth, supervision and assessment (ROI) of key marketing initiatives such as Stay & Play program, Motor Coach program, and annual promotions calendar. In addition, the Marketing Specialist will be responsible for the implementation of various special projects. This position requires the ability to grow and maintain excellent relationships with both internal departments and external suppliers.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Specialist will take the lead on monitoring the daily function of this fast-paced marketing department to ensure deadlines are achieved and that all marketing initiatives run smoothly and successfully. Budget management and administrative duties as required.
