Job Description: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Provides timely, friendly and courteous service.
· Introduces self and greets guests using first/last names as appropriate.
· Provides superior table service by providing guests with menu/special information, suggesting beverages and ultimately taking guests beverage orders.
· Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all menu items, outlet hours and prices as well as composition of food/beverage menu items, daily specials and proper beverage placing procedures.
· Clears tables making sure they are clear of all plates, glasses, etc.
· Adheres to all guidelines specific to outlet and Harrah’s Joliet Casino and Hotel.
· Assists the outlet in other areas of service as required.
· Acts as a role model to other employees and always presents oneself as a credit to Harrah’s and encourages others to do the same.
· Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures.
· Completes all other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:
· High school diploma or equivalent required.
· Restaurant/food service experience is preferred.
· Exceptional customer service skills.
· Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays.
