Job Description: ACCOUNTABILITIES, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & QUALIFICATIONS Post Secondary Degree/Diploma in Advertising/Marketing Minimum 5 years proven Advertising/Marketing experience in a corporate marketing environment Proven experience with budget preparation and maintenance Excellent leadership skills, ability to train, develop and coach staff Knowledge of media planning and advertising costs including potential reach and frequency for television, radio, newspaper, and magazine Demonstrated experience of media placement, reach, frequency and GRP’s Demonstrated experience with advertising production specs and the ability to communicate to vendors Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and pay strict attention to detail Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs and an understanding of graphics software an asset Knowledge of community, business, media and government Gaming / Entertainment experience considered an asset Flexibility to support a 7/24 operation

Reporting to the Director of Marketing Services, the Advertising Manager is responsible for executing and overseeing the advertising strategy formation, creative development and production process ensuring alignment with brand objectives as well as ensuring that integrity, cost, quality and timelines are met.
The Advertising Manager will assist in establishing and executing annual marketing plans, media plans and advertising campaigns. The successful candidate will also be responsible to develop, plan, implement and budget for a variety of media projects including television, radio, print and electronic media. The Advertising Manager will perform supervisory functions for the Advertising and Graphics Department including training and developing staff.
The Advertising Manager is also responsible for the strict adherence of the Marketing department’s compliance policies, internal control procedures, Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario control specifications, and Casino policy and procedures. The Advertising Manager will promote a safe and hazard free work environment pursuant to the Health and Safety Act.
