after a quick search.... ****************************** When to go to Las Vegas * Cheapest Month to Visit Las Vegas When you are planning your trip, the best time to go to Las Vegas is between Thanksgiving and Christmas. During these short months, rooms can be had for as little as twenty dollars a night. Airfare and other considerations are also cheaper, as this is off-season for the area. If you choose to go during this period of time, it is important that you make certain you have all of your reservations for the hotel in advance, as there can be the occasional bursts of visitors to the city during this time frame. * Best Time to Visit Las Vegas ** Tourist Season If you want to enjoy Las Vegas at the height of the tourist season, you will need to make certain that you have prepared for your trip well in advance. As many individuals want to experience the whole of Las Vegas during the on season, you need to make certain that you have your reservations for plane and hotel well in advance. This is considered perhaps the best time to visit Las Vegas if you want to experience the full glamor and glory of the city that never sleeps. ** Off Season If you are looking for the quiet, romantic side of Las Vegas, the off season is the best time for you to visit Las Vegas. While most of the attractions are still open, the period between Thanksgiving and Christmas allow you to enjoy the glamors of Vegas without needing as many special preparations to be able to see everything that you want to.

Hi ya Rachel. I've been to Vegas 6 times now and every time I went I had as good as time as before. The Strip is good for the first couple of times but what you really want to do is, after seeing all the sites on the strip, go downtown where people are in a more party atmosphere. Fremont Street is fantastic! Check this out! http://www.fourqueens.com/ It is more like a mardigra there. The best time to go price wise is during our summer months but be prepared for HOT weather. Still..... the air conditioned casinos are only a hop skip and a jump away from one another so relief is always near by. To sum it up... there is never a bad time to go!! (Driving there only takes about 20 hrs ya know!!

nice info martin. i want to back there some time soon. recently went in january and had a blast, i would say that it didn't look as busy as i've seen on travel shows. so much to do and see down there, hard to fit it all in 4 days. anyone recommend any good places to eat? the only thing i didnt like in vegas was the food. all the diners were gross, and the hotels didn't necessarily have good cooks either.
