I am super excited about watching the Olympic hockey in Feb. I know that Canada has a great shot at winning gold, but nothing is for sure.
In women's hockey, I think it comes down to Canada vs. USA for the gold, but that game can go either way, as past championships have. They both have great teams, and when you have a one game tournament, anything can happen.
With the men's hockey, there are some great teams out there. Russia, USA, Canada, Sweden, Czech, Finland are all great teams. I hope that Canada wins the gold, but it is not going to be an easy ride. Maybe that is what they need, a tough, gritty, Canadian style tournament to build momentum and win the gold.
All I know is that is that it will be some great hockey to watch. And when you are a Canadian, what else can you ask for?!?!?
