Anyone into horse racing? I find that spending the day placing a few bets on the horses at Hastings Park is quite fun. Anyone have any tips? I find that betting on the jockey tends to work.

I've always been curious about horse racing.
But then you hear people talking about it, and its like another language. Seems too difficult for the average person to really get into, unless you plan on spending a good amount of time on it.

Yeah, it's difficult to understand. When I hear the play-by-play announcers, I have no idea what they're talking about. :P

Yeah, I think it's fun to watch. Maybe because I like horses, so I'm a little biased. The only bad thing is you have to wait 20-25 minutes between races, and it can get very boring.

Yea, that's the worst part. I place bets on horses with Devil in the name. They usually do good.
