Great Canadian Casino - 62.00 / 100.00 It could just be me but, it seems like one of those places that all the addicted gamblers go. Everyone is very serious and no one really talks. Cascades Casino - 67.00 / 100.00 Initially Cascades started out on the right foot. The 15 dollar buffet included crab legs, prawns and assorted cold seafood. There was also an additional middle area with 4 additional hot entrees to choose from. This was removed. No worries though because if you are a high limit player you could order food in the high limit roped off area. Not a bad service considering minimum bets are $50.00/hand. Garlic prawns, japanese style steak on greens were my favourite. These items and many others were removed in favour of sandwhiches and "meals" from the restaurant but these would now be closely monitered as to which players would be comped. It wasn't a matter of "playing in the high limit room" any longer. How so? They eliminated high limit and turned it into a $15 dollar minimum $500 dollar maximum room because "it wasn't busy enough". What you have now are drunken Fri&Sat night BJ warriors coming in and wonging their 15 dollar bet while you've got a $500 dollar chip on 2 spots. Now as every serious BJ player knows a bad player doesn't affect your hand, but let's be frank here. How can a casino intend to build up it's clientale of "High Rollers" if they intend to mix them with !5 dollar betters who take up all the spots on the only semi-private area in the entire casino? It is bad enough that there is a dispraportionate amount of drunken players at this casino than any other in the lower mainland. It has become a popular hangout as an alternative to the "bar scene" in Langley. On any given friday/saturday night you may see a blackjack 5 or 10 dollar min table closed for the night because a beer has been spilled onto the table and into the chip tray. Security on these nights have a look about them that appears to be closer to bouncers because of the "bar/club scene" that is the norm on the weekend nights.    - Posted By SweetAxtion on 11/19/2005

Not only is the venue amazing, the game selection very wide, but they also bring in high quality entertainment.
