Silverton Casino Hotel Lodge has teamed up with the West Coast Customs crew, from the popular MTV series "Pimp My Ride," to pimp-out several boats and automobiles worth tens of thousands of dollars. The crew has taken two Silverton-owned Nitro Tracker and Tahoe boats and added customized tools, gadgets and technology to produce a fisherman's dream machine. The Nitro Tracker boat is on display now in the Silverton's grand foyer, and the Tahoe is on display at a special penny slot bank where guests have the chance to win the pimped-out boat!
Hootie & the Blowfish, the popular musical group known for their hits "Time", and "Hold My Hand", has partnered with the Silverton Casino Hotel Lodge in a unique collaboration that will keep the Silverton rocking all year long. The partnership includes three performances at the Silverton, and also allows the band to take over name rights of the Shady Grove Lounge. The 24 hour lounge, featuring billiard tables, big screen plasma televisions, Bowlingo and large, overstuffed leather couches and chairs will officially be known as Hootie & the Blowfish's Shady Grove Lounge, and will add specialty drinks and food to the menu in honor of the band.
